I became a Governor in 2010, and Chair of Governors in 2013. I also chair the Teaching, Learning and Achievement Committee. Both my daughters have been students at the school. I work locally in the insurance industry where I specialise in Risk Management and Compliance and I am also a Justice of the Peace for Hampshire.
VICE CHAIR OF GOVERNORS
I have been a Foundation De La Salle Governor since 2003. I am Vice Chair of the Governing Board, Chair of the Finance, Resources and Premises Committee and a member of the Pay Committee.
I was elected as a Parent Governor in January 2015 with three children who all attend St Peter’s. I am a teacher myself and sit on the Teaching, Learning and Achievement Committee with specific responsibility for Pupil Premium students.
I am a former pupil of St Peter’s School and all five of my children along with my two step children have attended St Peter’s School.
I joined the teaching staff of St Peter’s in 1980 as a Senior Teacher responsible for Pastoral Care and in 1989 was appointed Deputy Head of the School. In 1993 I was appointed Headteacher of Kingsleigh School in North Bournemouth.
I am now semi-retired and Chair the Student Welfare and Catholicity Committee.
I have acted as a Co-opted Governor since 2009 and I sit on the Finance, Resources and Premises Committee where I report on site matters.
I am a former pupil and parent at St Peter’s. I was ordained as a permanent deacon in the diocese in 2008 and have significant pastoral and catechetical experience of walking alongside people. I am committed to highlighting the interconnectedness of education and faith, as both should be a journey of self-discovery and continual inner growth. I have significant professional experience both as an auditor with a large public body and most recently in Project Management within the diocese. I am a good listener and provide fact based opinions with a broad understanding of the future challenges and opportunities for our Catholic family of schools. I strongly believe that supporting good communication and professionalism are the bedrock of a healthy school community. I look forward to working with and walking alongside our teachers, support staff and students as a herald of hope and messenger of the Good News. I sit on the Finance Resources and Premises Committee.
I am employed as Site Manager at St Peter’s School and elected as a Staff Governor in November 2014 where I sit on the Finance Resources and Premises Committee.
I am a Foundation De La Salle Governor with four children at St Peter’s. I am a Chartered Accountant and sit on the Finance, Resources and Premises Committee.
I was appointed as a Foundation Governor by the De La Salle in September 2018 and I sit on the Student Welfare and Catholicity Committee. My professional background is in marketing but following a change of direction, I am currently employed as a secondary school teaching assistant in a local school. I have three children one of whom is a current pupil at St Peter’s – a school I believe has a strong sense of community and one which provides a safe and supportive learning environment. I look forward to working with the school team in order to build on the current success.
I am a Foundation Governor appointed by the Diocese in May 2018 and I currently sit on the Finance Resources and Premises Committee. I am employed as a Finance Director and have two children one of whom currently attends St Peter’s Primary phase.
I am a Science teacher at St Peter’s School and was elected as a Staff Governor in November 2014 where I sit on the Teaching Learning and Achievement Committee.
I was elected as a Parent Governor in January 2015 and sit on the Student Welfare and Catholicity Committee. I have two children one of whom is currently at St Peter’s School. My prime objective as a parent governor is to oversee that St Peter’s continues doing its best to maximize the children’s potential and to promote and support learning at home, engaging with parents and carers.
I was appointed to the Board in January 2018 as a Co-opted Governor where I am a member of the Student Welfare and Catholicity Committee.
I also have one child at St Peter’s in the primary phase of the school.
I became a Governor in January 2018 as I wanted to support and play an active role in St Peter’s remaining a strong school as it continues its exciting journey to becoming an all-through school; one that is committed to maintaining a focus on everyone at the school being the best they can be. I sit on the Teaching, Learning and Achievement Committee. I’m also mum to a child at St Peter’s school.
