Applying to our School
St Peter’s is a Catholic School and our values are centred around the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. St Peter’s provides an excellent Christian education for all boys and girls including those of other faiths and those with none, from ages five to nineteen. Applicants will be admitted without regard to aptitude or ability. The School serves Bournemouth, Dorset and Hampshire.
The normal years of entry to the School are Reception (Primary phase), Year 7 (Secondary phase) and Year 12 (Sixth Form). There are separate admissions policies for each of these entry years.

On 12 February 2016 the Governing Body of St Peter’s School ratified changes to The Admissions Policy for 2017-2018 (ie for entry in September 2017) after careful consideration of all responses to the Public Consultation.

Appeal hearings take place at the Town Hall, Bournemouth and are heard by an Independent Appeals Panel. The final decision of the Panel is legally binding on all parties.
