Seventeen of our Year 10s took part in this year’s Spanish Exchange trip to Tarragona in October, accompanied by MFL Teacher, Miss Culliford. Students were able to immerse themselves in both the Spanish language and culture during their week stay with their Spanish partner and host family.
During the week the students enjoyed various activities such as a guided tour of Tarragona, a Spanish lesson at our partner school, a walk to Tarragona’s Roman aqueduct, a trip to visit Barcelona and its sights, and a visit to Port Aventura theme park. The students all showed great enthusiasm during the trip and really took advantage of this excellent opportunity to practice their Spanish and bond with their Spanish students.
I’m sure it will be an unforgettable experience for them all. We welcome back the Spanish students for the return leg of the Exchange in January.
