VIRTUAL TRANSFER ACTIVITIES
Welcome to Year 7 at St Peter’s School. We are looking forward to getting to know you over the coming weeks and hope that you are feeling excited and positive about joining our community in September. As we are unable to meet during the summer term, there are activities and resources being added to this page regularly, so keep coming back and having a look. The ‘New Student Handbook’ is full of useful information about day to day aspects of school life so make sure you read it carefully. Complete the ‘Getting To Know St Peter’s’ quiz to see how much you have learned about your new school already. There is also a ‘Getting to Know You’ activity so that we can start to find out a little bit about you.
GETTING TO KNOW YOU
Your tutors are looking forward to getting to know a bit more about you. Complete ‘Getting to Know You – Activity 1’ so that they can begin to get to know you. You can either print the activity sheet and complete it, or if you are feeling creative, you could create your own version (perhaps a collage or a detailed mind-map) that includes the same information. When you have finished it, please send it to firstname.lastname@example.org so that your tutors can see your wonderful work.
MEET THE TUTORS
VIRTUAL TOUR OF ST PETER’S SOUTHBOURNE SITE
Welcome to St Peter’s School as new parents! I hope that your child is looking forward to starting with us in September. Change always brings some worries and fears as well as excitement and anticipation (for parents as well as children!). Links to all the New Parent Handbook and forms can be found below. Further information and resources will be added over the coming weeks – please keep an eye on your emails as we will send regular updates when additions are made and if there are any changes or updates to the current plan for September in the light of the ever-changing Covid-19 situation. We hope you and your families have a safe and restful summer and we look forward to meeting you in September.
You should have received an information package in the post with printed forms that need to be completed and signed by parents and students. It would be greatly appreciated if you could return these by post or hand to our Southbourne site, clearly labelled: YEAR 7 TRANSFER. Copies of the forms can also be downloaded below. When completing the Student Entry form, please supply more than one contact in case we are unable to get hold of the main contact in an emergency.
