Since the retirement of Headteacher David Todd last year we’ve been undertaking a process to recruit a permanent Headteacher for St Peter’s. Yesterday that process was completed with an all-day assessment that included 5 Governors, our School Improvement Advisor, the Diocese Director for Education and a De La Salle Trust Representative. Unanimously, Acting Headteacher and previous Deputy Headteacher, Ben Doyle, has been appointed permanently to the role of Headteacher of St Peter’s. He will take up the role with immediate effect.
Ben’s considerable experience, his track record as our interim Head for the last 6 months, his demonstrable strategic thinking, and passion for St Peter’s create a very strong platform from which he will take up his new permanent role.
We wish him every success as we continue our journey to becoming an all through outstanding school.
