    The library are running a summer reading challenge for secondary students over the holidays, with a certificate and a small prize for all completed entries.

  • Sports Day

    Last Thursday saw Secondary participating in the annual sports day. Students competed in athletics as well as football, netball, basketball, volleyball, tug of war, indoor rowing and dance. The weather was good and the atmosphere was excellent. The day was a real success, with students competing hard but with a real sense of inclusivity and sportsmanship.

    This year, we had another strong cohort of students who took up the challenge of completing their Bronze and Silver DofE Awards. The award strives to empower young people; to support them as they learn new skills, overcome obstacles and build confidence and resilience – our students clearly demonstrated this!

    As we enter the summer, SENDiass4BCP find they see fewer people coming along to their in-person and online events. They also have fewer staff available over the summer months. This means they’ll have fewer drop-ins and workshops available to attend – but there are still a number of workshops over June, July, and August. Please do pop along if you have any questions!
