Our team of five Year 9 students spent a morning in the engineering departments at RNLI Poole as an exclusive prize for winning last year’s “RNLI 2050” challenge.
Year 7 student, James, got a very special letter recently.

Well done to these two students, in Year 7, who were the first to complete the PE departments ‘Photo Blast’ orienteering course and work out the anagram of mixed up letters at the end!!! Great work, Physical endeavour combined with great planning and intelligence. First Class work.

A big well done to Annabel who has tipped the balance of the bake off competition with her last minute entry. We can now confirm that the Year 10 students won the bake off.
Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition students challenged the staff to a Christmas bake off, before Christmas.
We have been baking mince pies at KS4, and with Year 9. Students have understood the science of making mince pies, including dextrinization, caramelisation and ‘shortness’ without a soggy bottom.

Last month Year 11 went to see 'An Inspector Calls' at The Mayflower in Southampton. After the trip the English Department ran a review writing competition.
Year 10 have been a working hard on their lactose free task.
