Sports Day

Last Thursday saw Secondary participating in the annual sports day. Students competed in athletics as well as football, netball, basketball, volleyball, tug of war, indoor rowing and dance. The weather was good and the atmosphere was excellent. The day was a real success, with students competing hard but with a real sense of inclusivity and sportsmanship.

The eventual winners were Mission (yellow) and it was a real pleasure to have so many parents in attendance to share the afternoon races with us.

Several long-standing records were broken on the day and we will soon be able to release an updated version of the school sports records as they now stand.

Thanks to all involved and to parents for their support with the house coloured tops.
