#SPEAK UP Year 7 Concert
On Tuesday 15 October at 6pm, in the De La Salle Theatre, students from Year 7 will be performing a selection of songs they have been studying and preparing for during lesson time as part of their schemes of work. This project hopes to bring the year group together and encourage their awareness of community, identity and mental health.
The inspiration for this project was born from the difficult time Year 7 had returning to school, post-COVID, combined with transitioning to a new school. There is proof that singing together relieves stress and can help communities bond, and we saw this happen with groups in previous years. We hope that the continuation of this project helps our current Year 7 to start their new year on a confident footing.
Tickets are available in advance using the following link or can be purchased at the door on a first-come, first-served basis.
