A taste of studying catering

Our enthusiastic Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition students got a taste of studying catering with Bournemouth & Poole College in their Escoffier Restaurant. Divided into three groups, they rotated through different kitchens to experience hands-on every stage of the prep, ready for the final taste.

The Escoffier trip is by far our favourite and most enlightening trip of the year.  There is no comparison. Students' minds are blown by the high-end kitchens and the inspirational advice and support of the staff. We have worked with Nathan Mizen and Chef Alderman for a long time now, and their supportive, high-end approach to catering brings the profession to life.  We also have two ex-students currently on the specialised course at Bournemouth & Poole.
