Royal Navy Chefs
We had an exciting visit from Royal Navy Chefs, Sam and Dell, this week. The chefs worked with our Year 9 and Year 11 Food Tech students.
It was a real treat to return to school and dive straight into culinary heaven, with the chefs explaining the importance of creating tasty food for hungry naval staff.
They created the most delicious spaghetti bolognaise with garlic bread and fruit pavlovas with our Year 9 students. And they explained reduction sauces and flavours, before giving 11C an informative chat on Navy careers and the benefits of working at such a high level from a culinary perspective.
We would like to thank Sam and Dell for their time and enthusiasm, bringing their exciting world to life for our students. They've certainly had a full career, travelling the world.
