A Level Results 2024
Congratulations to our Sixth Form students collecting their grades today. We wish all of our outgoing Year 13 students the very best as they progress on to the next stage of their lives and encourage them to stay in touch over the coming years, as we are sure they will continue to achieve great things!
Our Sixth Form students are celebrating another great set of results. Over 25% of students achieved an A or A* in two or more of their courses with nine students securing an A or A* in at least three subjects. Students following vocational pathways performed superbly, with over 35% of grades being awarded the equivalent of an A or A*. These are just a few of the highlights of a wonderful day for our students.
Headteacher, Ben Doyle, was delighted, saying “These results did not happen by chance, it is down to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic students, the expert instruction and pastoral care provided by our incredible staff, and a solid home school partnership.”
84% of our students have already confirmed a place at their first choice university, with destinations and courses for our students wide and varied. These include such courses as studying Law at Southampton, Biomedical Sciences at Southampton and Mathematics and Sports Science at Loughborough University.
Particularly successful students include Harvey Brinson and Celine Hanna with 3A’s, Tilly Gibson with 2A* and 1A, Dominic Owen with 1A*, 2A’s and 1B and Matty Grzybowski with 2A* and 1A.
Simon Atkins, Head of Sixth Form said: "We are extremely proud of all of our students and their efforts. The results are a real reflection of their incredible work ethic over the last two years and they fully deserve all of their success."
