Last night, we invited the class of 2024 back to school to collect their A Level certificates and to celebrate all of their successes in the summer.
A huge thank you to all our wonderful Sixth Form reading mentors who volunteer each week to listen to many of our younger students reading. The scheme, which could not take place without them, is now in its third year and has grown steadily to involve over eighty students.
On Friday 15 November, nearly 80 Sixth Form students braved the cold weather to sleep rough as part of our annual sleep easy event, which helps to raise money for homeless people in the local area.
The latest Hodder Reviews have been delivered to the library and are available for students to borrow.

Congratulations to two of our Sixth Form Photography students, whose images will be used on paper samples sent out to clients.
Thank you to Subject Leader for Art & Photography, Chris Francis, a group of our Year 13 Art students - Giles Holloway, Sophie Hazell, Filip Czwojdrak and Samantha Aguilar, who, together with ex-student artist Nancy Lawford, artist Will Nicholls, and Art & Photography Teacher Alex Clarke, did a wonderful job running a conceptual art workshop at the weekend, as part of an event organised by the Royal Academy of Art.
Congratulations to our Sixth Form students collecting their grades today. We wish all of our outgoing Year 13 students the very best as they progress on to the next stage of their lives and encourage them to stay in touch over the coming years, as we are sure they will continue to achieve great things!
Great afternoon out at the New Forest Water Park last week with our A Level PE and BTEC Sport students!
Last week most of the Year 12 Art students had their work in the BEAF (Boscombe Emerging Arts Festival) show.
Our A level PE students researched, planned and cooked a meal for a power or endurance athlete. Their food was judged on presentation, taste and meeting the athletes needs.
